Details Bookings Meeting Format Prices, Times & More Last Updated: 30th March 2026 19:07 3rd April 2026 PreviewBriSCA F1, BriSCA F2, National Hotrods Welcome to Skegness Raceway, for the start of our Easter Bank Weekend and our Annual Good Friday night under our brand new Flood Lights! Racing tonight are the BriSCA F1 Stock Cars, BriSCA F2 Stock Cars and National Hotrods. Good Friday evening with an event that is perhaps aimed more towards the serious race fan, although anybody turning up who is new to short oval racing cannot fail to be impressed by the machinery on show. The team at Skegness always get excited by the annual visit of the National Hot Rods which are without doubt the prettiest and fastest cars that race here. The Nationals are the pinnacle of non-contact short oval racing with many drivers in the formula going on to circuit racing with a good few landing drives in the British Touring Car Championship. The action is close and fast and when the weather plays ball, the side by side action here at Skegness is breathtaking. The National Hot Rods are joined by the pinnacle of open-wheeled stock car racing with the BriSCA F1 Stock Cars and the smaller BriSCA F2 Stock Cars sharing the bill on the evening. Skegness has gained a reputation over recent seasons for mixing things up from the norm and quite a few drivers have been thrown the challenge of racing the ‘wrong’ car on past Good Friday nights. This year is no different as we are placing F1 Stock Car World Champion, Tom Harris, in the Barry Limer Hot Rod for the evening. And Tom’s BriSCA F1 Stock Car will be ‘stolen’ for the night by stadium owner and multiple Stock Car World Champion Rob Speak. And Rob will definitely drive it like he stole it! For Tom, it’s a rare UK outing in a non-contact car although not an entirely alien discipline to him as his Sprint Car racing in America is also about precision rather than plain aggression.
